A Wren darts across a meadow
next to a white beach
Wet rocks strewn in seaweed
and salty waters still with light rain
Resonates with the beauty
of my turbulent soul
So let the wind blow
and wild Atlantic storm
For if the sun should shine again
it might get too hot for me
One should know their place
at the mercy of Mother Nature's grace
Now two Wrens dart across the meadow
as a familiar wind had struck a cliff face
Oh such small things nobody cares to notice
makes all the difference
As to me
and this insignificant but beautiful life
