I went back to 1798 when the people had a thirst to rid the world of hate

And while standing on the corner of Pearse, Tone and Connolly I did think:

Many a man had swung from a back lane so these streets would have such fine names

So here’s to Patrick Walsh, Katherine Lynn and Jimmy Clarke

and to all those in between

who walked the banks of the Moy

to drink and to dream
