a man in crutches hobbles gracefully to the gents

Time passed me by

and I cracked a careful smile

to hear crutches dancing down stairs 

singing:

‘’Oh Lord it’s hard to be humble and Christmas is fucked.'

So I said to myself I’ll stay

one more day

to get lost in this madness

and drunken fray
