Oh I took a walk down by the harbour to see the sea in it’s murky blue
Entranced by the depths and to lose myself in you
But alas the wind picked up and I caught the gust of sense,
So I listened to the engines and watched the birds on the bow
And came to understand just why, just where and how,
Enthralled by the machinery in all the rust and sway
Rocking on the water, it was there I had to stay,
Many a catch was caught with men lost at sea,
whose solemn ghosts returned, gladly spoke to me,
But alas the wind picked up and I caught the gust of sense, so on my way I went, torn and hell bent
