On my travels a thumbs up went

I brought a man of 66

From Fintown to outside Ballybofey

No problem I did say

 

Oh! He had not to pay

But was glad to have met me on his way

So he could be with his sister

In such hard times

 

He worked for McAlpine in London

All his life

Cost him a lot

His mind and the wife 

 

He was nervous for some time

But I reassured him I was just fine

Although the inside of the car:

It said much different
