In nature it is the female who has all the power,

And she is often the strongest and lives the longest,

The Gods have crafted her to ensure that she is never wrong,

The continuation of a species depends upon this maxim,

She is the ultimate deceiver; a mother, a lover and a killer,

The ultimate thriller,

 

So she bides her time and sips her wine,

While she spins her web to spring her trap,

An intricate deception perfected from inception,

Most men are eaten alive while pinned to a silk web of lies,

And to be tortured slowly day by day and in the most normal and usual way:

While making life’s plans, watching television, eating dinner and going to bed,

To stare at the ceiling as the monster snores loudly and sleeps so soundly.
